Are you celebrating a special occasion for yourself, a family member or for your friends? Then a craft event is an ideal way to do this. Gift vouchers
A workshop gift voucher is a great way to treat someone for Mother's Day, a birthday or for Christmas. It might be to develop their existing skills or surprise them with something new, either way it's a unique present. To buy a voucher for the full cost of the course, or a part cost, please use the booking form where you will be able to select this as an option. The voucher will include your message, a greeting card, the voucher itself and will be posted to you or the recipient. Once purchased we will contact you to make the arrangements.

Can children take part?
We are happy to welcome children on to our workshops, as long as they are accompanied by an adult, and we can offer a reduced price for them. But please do contact us before you book as some courses may not be appropriate and places may be limited. We do plan to set up a programme of children's craft activities and are in the process of developing this. If you have experience of teaching craft activities to children and would be interested in being involved then please do contact us. Our aims and values
Windrush Creative is a small business whose aim is to provide a wide range of high quality craft workshops in the West Oxfordshire area. Our values include: providing workshops with all-inclusive prices; giving memorable craft experiences; using venues with historical, architectural or horticultural interest (or all three!); and using tutors who are craftspeople in their own right with many years of experience. We also plan to develop workshop programmes that enable participants to build on their skills and experience, for example by offering different levels of workshops and a range of subjects.

Why we started
The idea behind the workshop business came about after searching high and low for willow workshops. We tried to find workshops in the Oxfordshire area, and although we found a few, we'd either missed the dates, had to book months in advance, or the subject we wanted to learn wasn't being taught. In fact we've travelled as far as Somerset (in one day!) to take part in a Willow Sculpture workshop. We thought there must be other people like us, wanting to do workshops and not finding the opportunity in West Oxfordshire, and so the idea was born. But we didn't want to restrict ourselves to willow weaving, in addition to offering traditional craft worskhops we wanted to offer modern and unusual ones. Some workshop topics we're hoping to run in the future are wire sculpture, soap making and jewellery making. If you do not see anything you like, but have some ideas about what you want to experience, then please do get in touch and let us know. We might be able to organise a workshop that uses your idea.
